PARTNERSHIPS FOR FAMILIES
Program goal is designed to strengthen protective factors in families and to prevent child abuse in the Asian American/Pacific Islander communities.
Voluntary prevention services developed by Partnerships For Families are offered to 6 to 12 months to pregnant women and families with children 5 years old and younger who have one or more of the following risk factors for child maltreatment:
PROGRAM STAFF SERVICES
Services are provided in Khmer, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), Korean, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
- Domestic Violence
- Substance Abuse
- Mental Health-Related Issues
- Parent's Young Age
PROGRAM STAFF SERVICES
- Convenience of services at family's home
- General counseling service
- Crisis intervention
- Case management
- Concrete support service
- Psychotherapy service
Services are provided in Khmer, Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), Korean, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
Funded by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and partnering with Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC).
